upcoming notwist records late spring 2008

the recording has been finished.
new drummer on the recording and on tour is andreas haberl (also drummer for masha qrella and saroos).
in nov. and dec. the band is mastering the new record.
exspected release date for the upcoming is april or may 2008 on cityslang records.
the band will tour in germany in the late spring, but probably play only a few german cities.
there are a few chances left to see the acher brothers with their side projects live one stage this year:

15.12.2007 D-Würzburg - Cairo

Damn, new drummer?! I wonder why Martin (Mecki) Messerschmidt left the band? Was it because he’s drumming for Schweisser now? He was one of the founding members after all, so this is a bit of sad news. I do enjoy Andreas work, but I’m sad to see Martin go.
